Dr.P. Venkatachalam has completed his Ph.D. in Microbiology from Manonmaniam Sundranar University Tirunelveli, M.Sc., in Microbiology, Sri Paramakalyani College, Alwarkurichi, in 1999 and B.Sc., Microbiology, Sengunthar Arts and Science College Tiruchengode, in 1996. He is working as a Assistant Professor and Head, PG and Research Department of Microbiology at Sengunthar Arts and Science College Tiruchengode. He is serving in the field of teaching for the past 21 years at various levels. He is Involved in establishing teaching and Research in the field of Microbiology. He has published more than 13 Research papers in the National/International Journals. He has awarded 4 M.Phil. and presently guiding 4 Ph.D., scholars. He has organized 6 National Conferences. He is an Active member of various bodies in Various Institutions.
